About Us

A Helping Hand for the Elderly, Inc. has been solving problems for caregivers and their loved ones since 1993. John Kolasinski, owner of A Helping Hand for the Elderly, Inc., is an associate member of the American Association of Daily Money Managers.

"Thanks for all of your help. We couldn't do it without you."     Annette S.

A Helping Hand for the Elderly, Inc. is a unique service that creates value for caregivers and their loved ones. This is accomplished through the following traits that define A Helping Hand for the Elderly, Inc.

Personal -
We provide a one on one hands-on approach. We take the time to get to know you, your needs and your concerns.

Trustworthy -
We are well known and respected in the community. We receive many referrals from Catholic Charities, the Chicago Department on Aging, various suburban senior centers and other eldercare service providers.

Caring -
We are concerned about your loved one's well being as they journey through the aging process. We respect their thoughts and feelings. They will be treated with dignity and respect.

Commitment -
We are committed to helping ease your burden of caregiving and providing peace of mind, comfort and reassurance for you and your loved one. We can also be considered a "surrogate family member." We can be that extra set of eyes, ears and hands that caregivers often need.

Integrity -
We believe hard work, honesty, sound judgement, humility and humor is the best way to meet your needs. We are professional, reliable and dependable.
